We have come back from having a fantastic time in Ireland with Solo XII in the CCI1*. We were going there to be competitive but our main focus was to get a CCI1* qualification to go 2*. Freddie did not disappoint! Thursday was dressage day for us and we scored a 33 with lots of room for plenty of marks to come. Friday a very relaxing day off hacking and a few trips around the xc to fill in our time. Cross country day Freddie was fantastic start to finish. We took our time at couple combinations to sacrifice a few time penalties instead of a dreaded 20. So we were home clear with 7 time faults to add. Sunday he was just brilliant and jumped a super clear Show Jumping. I was delighted with him the whole week for trying so hard , I couldn’t have asked anymore from him. We finished just outside the top10 but extremely happy to jump a double clear with him. Now for some Intermediates with hopefully a CIC2* to finish the season.
